what size drill bit is everyone using to ream out the arms 2 mm maybe wish they put regular bit sizes in the instructions .thanks in advance

I had to pick up a #19 drill bit. Kinda hard to find but it works.

Yes, go for the chain saw file. Most of us have moved to that, and it's safer. The #19 bit was the old method and worked, but less precise and you could make mistakes if the bit grabs the plastic and cuts too much. Amazon option:

I'm wondering if the anodizing process is why the shock collars are so loose. My rear shocks are much lighter than the front shocks and the tears are loose. My fronts are much darker and tighter.

easy way to find out is the tray a rear collar on a front shock.

Anyone notice that the kit doesn't seem to include enough rear wheelbase shims?

It seems you need a total of 12mm worth of shims, but the kit only includes 10mm. (4x2mm and 2x1mm).

All the setup sheets on their sites use 12mm (6mm on each side)....? Am I missing something?

I noticed this, too - more play on the outer hinges than I would have expected...

The stock setup in the manual only calls for 5mm of shims per side. There isn't room for 6mm per side unless you remove a little material from the arm or the hub.

The extra mm shim fit in mine without any material needing to be removed.

I think what he's saying is that there is room for 1mm+, and I found that to be the case on mine, too. I doubt the play will be an issue, but definitely something I noticed.

I also used 6mm on one side and it fit perfect. 5mm seemed to have way too much play.

Mine too, I added an exta 1mm as the play bothered me..... I'm sure it will matter when I'm smashing pipes and tumbling down the straights, lol.

this seems like a dumb question, but...

My old (but still working) orion 1900kv motor only has M4 holes on it. The Tekno motor mount uses M3 screws. Is there any solution to this problem other than buying a new motor?
