I'm using the xt90's on mine and really like them.

I used to use EC5 but I'll be honest, the damn things were too hard to pull apart after a run. My son couldn't get them apart at all and I could barely get them out without feeling like I was going to rip the wires out when it suddenly pulled free.

So I just switched everything to Deans for this new build (after Danny at SMC said all he uses is Deans) and they work great.

I use XT150's but i'm weird. Allows me to run single 4S or double 2S/3S for 4S/6S power in series without any additional adapters and are super easy to solder and connect.

I've been using Deans and never had a problem with them.

Never had an issue with EC5's, but look into Anderson Power Poles... I pretty bought a lifetime supply of them from McMaster Carr about 10 years ago for about $30. I *still* have a huge pile of them.

We have always used deans, the key is to strap you wires down so they are not flopping around. At big races I put a little piece of electrical tape on the plugs.

I would rethink the deans connector personally. There are much better options. Traxxas, ec5, xt60 xt90's

Tried them all and the Castle connectors. I always end up going back to dean's. The traxxas plugs come unplugged alot and the others are either too bulky and flop around or are hard to take apart.

I need another car stand. I have a TLR plastic one for my 22-4 2.0 now which works ok. Does Tekno have anything like that?

Anyone else remember when Tekno said they were working on a setup guide and were going to release it. Anyone have any info if it died out or is still in the works?

Not that I know of but Petersen Metal makes really nice stands with your name cut into them. I have one and it is REALLY nice. They are based out of Hudson, FL.

A little dielectric grease on EC5 connectors makes them work excellent. We had the same issues till I started using dielectric.
