Thanks. They do look about the same size. I have several EC5 connectors and thought about using them.

I agree, XT60 is the best I've used. Doesn't melt, doesn't wear out very quickly, easy to separate, and super cheap.

If money wasn't an option, which servo would everyone use. I have always used the Hitec 7955(I'm a Hitec fan) but if there is a better servo that Hitec makes, I would be more than happy to spend a few more $$$.

What about something like this?

HSB-9380TH Ultra Torque, Brushless, Titanium Gear Servo

is it too much?

I know some of you may use a $40 servo, and I'm sure they're great, but that's not what I'm after.

Too much is better than not enough in my book, can't see it being a bad thing.

Steering is unreal and to the point it's recommended you run 3-4 washers to limit it.

Your towers are fine. They looked shorter in one picture. THey are the correct ones, no aftermarket ones available.

That is odd, though not the first one I have heard of that happening to. They may have had a batch of bearings with a few bad ones. All that I have heard of are rear hub bearings, too.

They did have issues with bad outdrives earlier in the year they will replace them with pics and a proof of sale.
