Another first run story, Car was a blast to drive once I fixed some diff issues(my issues not TLR's), got 2nd in the B main even after breaking the front shock tower with 30 seconds or so togo( my fault for being dumb) they bumped the top 2 to the A, wasn't doing too bad in the A, then I had a brain fart on the triple, end up slamming the car head on into a wall. amazingly I broke a front arm and the hinge pin is still intact. Loved the car, jumps like a dream, I had a blast even though I broke. I had several hard cartwheeling tumbling crashes and the car just kept going, the crash that got the shock tower was mild compared to some of the ones I drove away from.
Can't wait to run it again.

Here's a link in petitrc that shows some 22-4 electronics layouts: http://www.petitrc.com/setup/losi/se...ectronicsSetup

In there, I do see a few layouts with R603FS mounted next to ESC.

Ended up 6th. Grrrrr! Oh the horror of trying to crawl the track and save the race. Well they cant take my TQ from LOL.

36 packs and the front belt went. 2 race days and 2 practice days on it so my guess is a good maintenance regiment would be 30 packs or 3 race days then inspect the belts. Diffs are still pretty smooth but I may rebuild them as well while its apart...

Note:: a good idea for TLR would be small belt packaging and a rear belt package..
Were you running a locked clicker (full time 4wd), & ever looked at diff/belts/pulleys b/t pack 1 & 36?

How do the other belts & pulleys look?

I cut the tip of the body off and then clipped it back on to the chassis, now it stays when the body comes off and doesn't have the hacked up look

Run the nut down all the way to the shoulder of the shaft and cut off the rest. I used red loctite on the threads. They don't ever need to come apart. Grub screws are out
What size nuts are those? Are they a losi part or from the hardware store?

Is anyone cutting any type of air venting into the body for the electronics? Just curious

I'm using my old TLR6079 TiNi hinge pins from my first 22 for now, as seems everyone is sold out of the correct hinge pins, hopefully they don't break as well. I'm also temporarily using a front right arm on the left side until my LHS gets more in stock. Earlier in this thread they said it would work as long as you wern't using a sway bar kit.

Q: for my own info.. Did you notice that hinge pin had broke after the arm broke on you? How did the arm break by the front brace or by the bottom of the chassis. And did it do any damage to your bulkhead too?

If would be awesome if anyone else that's broken hinge pins could answer these too!

thanks
Oh yeah, carpet is definitely hard on stuff. It looks to me like the pin broke first because the a-arm is broke in front. Bulkhead is fine, slid a pin in from one of my other vehicles and it fits fine, but I'm going to use the shock shafts for now.

So with all of these front arms & pins breaking is the pin breaking first and causing the arm to break or both at the same time? I see some people using shock shafts as pins are the arms still breaking with those pins also?

Instead of cutting the body, I cut the body mount up front, and used hook and loop body mounting along the chassis sides together with the rear clips. Works perfectly and looks better than cutting off the nose...
