What is a good Futaba servo to use for the B4 or for 1/10th off-road in general. I have always used the XP DS1015 servos and never bothered to experiment with anything else.

BLS451

All this talk about turn buckle rubbing on the shock. Mine rubs and I built it to exact kit setup. I honestly don't see how it couldn't rub unless you run longest wheelbase.

Somebody should snap a pic if you have built it with middle wheelbase and you claim it does not rub. I would like to see what is different with your car vs my car.

I put .090 washers between the eyelet and the arm on the bottom.

No problem....more people should find that funny, some surprisingly don't.

Let us not forget that those building with C hubs, A/B FT hubs, or B44 plastic hubs are in slightly different boats in regard to camber link forward/backwards exact position.

I have said it before and I will say it again. Based on some of your questions, I would not waste the money on the Big Bore shocks right now, or any other "upgrades" for that matter until you are making consistent laps. The Big Bores do help smooth the car out but they are not magic, they won't fix fundamental problems. Drive the 4.1 as you have it and then when you are at the limits of what the car can provide, look where you need improvements and go from there. Again, my humble opinion, do with it what you will.

has anyone with a full size lipo made a esc tray? how did you raise the tray for the battery to fit under?

These could be a nice fix. It's the shock pivot ball with integrated spacer from Yaiba Racing.

Go to TSR Products.com They have them. Ordered mine yesterday

I run A Hubs here in AZ, but yeah. There are new red hubs out that have a lower C position.

Just keep in mind that YAIBA is Tresrey and Tresrey has been getting a really bad rep lately for both quality and customer service. Personally I don't have any of their products, but I was following the Durango threads enough over the last couple months to make me have second thoughts about giving them my money.

I'm running a thunder power 6000 so I had to use more than 2mm:lol: now off to McMaster to find some longer 5-40 bolts. The 9/16" length that comes in the kit is too short....
