ok, so they are not Ti studs with a coating. they are steel with a coating... I will pass, lol.

I think they're steel but hold a magnet to them to test that.

WHAT is all the fuss about? How is it a negative that AE periodically releases a new minor revision of their car that includes all of the latest upgrades and changes. It's not like they called it the B5, they called it a B4.2. The last car was a B4.1. They're honest in their naming and they should be applauded for keeping their kits current.

Does the TiNI coating wear quickly?

Right on!

For the people that need new kits, the B4.2 is great. Whole lot better than having to buy a WC, and big bores separately.

And having to dremel a new car never feels right.

I really don't need them but I pre-ordered 2 on A-Main. Prob just keep them around until my current .2's wear out...

Ordered two, one for me and one for my oldest son. Can't wait. I am thinking about going from Lrp/Reedy to Viper on these two with pro gauge looks cool. Youngest son is biting his nails for T4.2.

Really??? Let me guess. You are trying to get your RB5 wheels to work. Right?

I love viper stuff progaige is awesome

I ran Viper for 2 years and never had a bad thing to say about them. It was just time for a change. Everyone that I travel with runs Tekin so it only made sense to switch to Tekin. I have been with them for 6 months now and haven't had any issues... Both company are fantastic, I cannot speak for either companies (Tekin/Viper) tech support because I never used them. Both have a huge support system here on RCTech from company reps and members. Both are avid supporters of the Military. Needless to say I like them both...
