I have a question for you guys.

Would a highly sponsored guy replace brand new parts on his 4.2 or is that just crazy even for a guy who is sponsors or is in favor of a certain company?

For example:
Would a Avid guy change his FT 4.2 hexes to avid ones?
Or would a Avid guy change his FT Steering rack to the avid one?

Just thought I would throw that out there...

Of course... A guy sponsored by Avid and AE would no doubt run all (or most of) the Avid parts on his B4.2.

Not arguing , debating or even stating a personal preference.

Sorry if I stepped on a few toes ...

Just feel its important to make sure others here realize what happens when you don't use a bleed seal ...

George,

I run the losi washers on all of the cars I own with the BB's and they leak.

Simply put, that solution does not work, for ME that is...

84 is more of a truck sized spur....a good starting point would be about 81/22-23

vito 02-02-2013 02:49 PM

its the avid slipper kit and it has a 84 tooth.

It comes with an 81 as well if you bought the mod version....they also sell additional spurs. If you must use a 84 try a 24...but thats moving the motor back more.

What made you go with the Avid kit over the VTS slipper that came with the Stock 4.2?
