Are you using the washers that came with the avid caged thrust, or the washers that came with the Puck system?

Using only the AVID caged thrust assembly (grooved rings & caged bearing), nothing from the MIP thrust assembly. The AVID fits fine & has been solid & smooth for weeks of racing.

The Jconcepts stick weights have both 5g and 10g in the kit.

Do you guys think it's worth paying the extra $100 to get the C4.2?

That will be up you. I have it, and to be honest it sucked outdoors. But the conditions were not the best to run it and I was anxious to run it anyways. But I have not run it indoors where the car is meant to be run. So I guess I still have to give the car its fair share and more setup work. The biggest thing that bothers me with the car is the 4 screws that hold down the battery. Wish someone would come up with a design that allows easier battery removal.

Glad to hear, just ordered the kit along with the hard coated top shaft for mine from the LHS.

Not totally true. It's meant for very high traction surfaces weather it be indoors or outdoors. They did run it at the ROAR Nats and the IFMAAR Worlds right?

He was more referring to the lack of bite the outdoor tracks have around here. Indoor is a different story. Traction out the wazoo.

I dont know what a wazoo is, but it sounds fun?!?!

So yes. Its made for high traction either indoor or outdoor.

we has an east coast guy recently come out here an race at out indoor tracks. He classified it as insane traction and the guys from cali call it medium bite. That is why low/med/high bite are all relative.

For the battery just use the thumbsrecws and studs that come with the B4.2 kit. they screw right inot the C4.2 kit. Just buy an extra set to do all four posts. thats what I did.
