big bore shocks, alu steering rack, multi pad slipper, longer chassis, longer battery strap, alu hex, alu rear hubs.
So using my B4 and fixing it when necessary might prove difficult. Are parts still available?

The track is a in door, cold, clay wet. Tire front and rear is a green barcode and a m4 suburbs.
Might want to look at softening up the rear. I run 30wt in the rear with green springs and regular 1.6 pistons

Do u think the tapers are hurting more than helping??
All I got for springs is the factory kit springs.

I would drop the rear shock oil weight to 30 and try it first.

don't think different pistons would solve that problem

What size pistons, oil, and shocks are good start off for a full stick pack? I feel the car likes to slap more off a jump instead of being plush landing and driving off. Is there one part I should work with more first such as using smaller size pistons or higher weight oil?

Taper makes the car more reactive , better for sharp corners but harder to drive.

Flat piston will drive smoother & easier for you.

Easier to drive will work best for someone new .
As you gain experience you will learn to make the car faster but not necessarily easier to drive ...

start with Green spring front & back

2 x 1.6 flat

32.5W front >>Med Traction
30W rear or 27.5W for extra traction

Thank u cherry!!.
Ur right the the buggy felt good on the infield. It would turn tight!!!!!! Real tight!!!!! Jumped good and level. Very quick to transion from left to right hand turns. No pushing at all. I thought about taking steering out by the radio. I never had a b4 turn like this turned!!!!

Default springs

Now this might be dumb but what color of springs would I need for the buggy front an rear without buying the package sets?
I got the black front and white rears.
I need green ft an green rr. What else do I need and for the b44.2 stock is blue ft and white rr for springs?

White front and your probably good to go.
All you really need is white and green front and rear.
Maybe blacks if you have low traction

The losi BK bar with an AKA red foam seems to be the ticket, last race TQ was a C4.2 with the same tire. running factory weight, 1 7g in each rear triangle and 14g behind the servo. battery is almost full fwd

I have found Ion's have more traction (more steering) Barcodes a little less and scrubs the least (these push like crazy on my car)

you might try running trimmed rear inserts on your front barcodes too

I run a short lipo all the way forward, 7g weight in each rear triangle. My car is on the borderline of having too much steering
