^yup! it doesn't really do anything. everyone has been trying to lighten up their cars but in actuality it's about SETUP, TIRES, and DRIVING! I see it time and time again in the pits where someone spent tons of money on things and they complain why their car is still slower than the fast guys when they have these new parts that's suppose to make them faster. I always tell them that the fad doesn't make you faster but PRACTICE and the right setup for your driving will. but hey who am I to tell them what to do with their time and money I just don't want to hear their complaints! lol

Rear end breaking loose during braking?
I thought I saw this posted recently, But I couldn't find it in the last 100 pages. With the latest layout change, my buggy's rear tires breaks loose under straight line braking. (It rotates counter-clockwise if that makes a difference) It has NEVER done that before under any track conditions. Nothing seems to be binding;in fact I just rebuilt the entire back end, including the trans, and replaced all of the bearings. On-power steering is fine, (in fact it slightly pushes). The car does this with any tire choice. I was going to try reducing rear droop to see if that helps. I was also thinking of adding some weight under the rear shock tower in the battery tray. Any suggestions or ideas?

Did Maifield not run 2wd mod at the JC race? Because I have no idea who those guys are on the podium besides Dustin.
Alex Miller came with me. He's a Harrisburg PA local ( Bumps and Jumps). Alex K is another up and comer from the north east. I forget which track is his home track. These two kids didn't luck into their spots either. They were blazing fast in 2wd and 4wd all weekend and the results showed. |

LMAO, there was no hackfest, he didn't break, and I don't believe there was a restart for the Mod buggy A main (might be mistaken).
The only locals that even made the A were 8-10. Maifield was running with some fast guys. That's all, no excuses, no hacking, no nothing. Alex K beat him out in one of the 4WD buggy quals as well, but blew a rear diff gear in the main. Evans was on RAILS, Alex K held off Maifield for 2-3 laps, then Alex M took over 3rd. The Alex K/M battle went on from about lap 3 until the end of the race, allowing Evans to check out. Absolutely PHENOMENAL racing from all involved, as the layout was very difficult. The Alex's put on a clinic. Was one of the best races I have seen in a long time. |

I'm sure they are great guys, but as a professional web developer I can't give such a horrible site my business.

Make sure your socks are the same length, and that the outdrives/dogbones aren't worn.
