Yeah, never been a fan of bow-ties on buggy in any condition, but whatever works.

Just finished my build. Question. 2 of the shock caps are REALLY tight. Obviously as well aluminum on aluminum?

some people were wiping down the cap and alum shock bushing with simple green to fix the issue. I just used the plastic shock bushings.

The top shock cap when installed on the car onto the blue bushing. Two are fine and lose and the other two are binding bad.

I used my wife's emery finger nail file and gently removed a very small amount of material and it's good now.

same here. I can't even get the stupid thing off.

After some time building the car, I compared it to the RB5. The Kyosho is NICE....still. The Kyosho is a quarterback. Plastics are awesome. The parts look fancier. They have a sort of sheen to them. The parts fit better and barely have any flashing to sand off. It's a well thought out car.

The B4.2 is very utilitarian. The AE looks tough. The AE is a linebacker. The parts look straight to the point. I think this design lets the car have just the basic set-up adjustments and still be very good. No fancy frills like Kyosho or Losi or..everyone else. If there are any fancy frills, its superficial: countersunk washers, servo mounts, shock mounts, etc.

I can't wait to drive this.

Thanks for the advice guys. The tazers work well on my 2wd SCT when the track has been freshly watered....I might pick them up as a set to run when the track has been prepped and a set of bowties for when the track is dryer and more blown out...

Post up how you like the bowties when you get them. I think youll find they're pretty good all around tires on outdoor tracks.

For the guys breaking e-clips, I used 0.2 shims I had left over from this kit.

Piston is nice and snug.
