You would be lucky to even know what he uses ...

The advise is from Ae & what they give my teammates ....

not a personal thing or something I pounded out on the track & feel is best ...

Must be nice. I have a 2.5hr drive and i can choose between about 5-6 tracks including Hot Rod, WCRC and OCRC. When I live in Tucson there were 3 tracks within a 30 minute drive.

Indoor racing is nice. Most of the people on here seem to race indoors. I gather this by your tire choices. It seems most dont run outdoor wet clay. All of you guys and your barcode/wishbone/slick tires, lol. We run holeshots/DD's/3D's with ribbed tires up front. We are old school, lol. Luckily, the b4 setups hold mostly true front indoor to outdoor or i would be on my own for help. When I do goto our indoor track(like last weekend), I normally just change tires and maybe add/remove a ballstud washer. I still dont understand what makes the b4 so magical with the setup consistency. Its probably why is has won so many worlds and nationals. Maybe it is the slop, lol.

feel your pain matt. 1 track about 1.5hr away for outdoor, for next year the closet indoor offroad track will be about 3 hrs+ away, with winter driving, can be a pain.

Well, going to give the 1.6s a try and see.

lol, I still have never ran HT. They have dirt oval there and I have an extreme hatred of oval, lol. This is where the east coast guys slam me, lol.

out here in the summer it can be step pins or losi red studs depending on track conditions. If left to dry out enough, holeshot style could work too LOL.

I see your winter driving and raise you LA traffic, lol. It took me 5.5 hours to make a 3hr drive a couple weeks back when i went down to ocrc. Granted it was a friday.

When I live in Austin, TX we ran Losi Silver Studs and losi silver ribs on outdoor sandy loamy tracks. I actually pulled out my studs a months ago, they were half worn and they were actually pretty well hooked up. I felt weird when people asked me what my tires were. The blank look in their eyes when I said "losi silver studs" made me die a little on the inside.

Big City traffic trumps all, lol. At least driving in a blizzard can be exciting. Its like practice for the track, lol.

I'll go without that kind of practice lol. Love living up here, just wish we had something local in the biggest city in the state. From what I heard, we used to. Funny stuff, the city I went to college in up north here had no racing at the time, leave the state come back years later and it has a nice indoor and outdoor facility now. *sigh*
