Thx all! Also, what gearing
is everyone using for 13.5 blinky?

Depending on track and car setup, I usually run 70 to 90 percent dual rate. Most of the time my car is undriveable at 100 percent dual rate.[/QUOTE]

Most guys have been trying these new foam tires and have got them working decent

They really seem to loosen the car up and help it not traction roll, but I just can keep it nailed down. Car is all over the place and the rear end just tries to pass the front half of the time.

Would you guys follow a dirt setup as these foams mimic dirt or still use a carpet setup and change something else? I'm using the saddle configuration with a tekin rsx and gen 2 7.5

Leave the steering maxed out and calm the car down with the suspension settings, diffs, and wheel hex's. A car with plenty of steering, can be widened and stiffened so you can go even faster with less traction rolling.

Look into stiffer swaybars and thicker diff fluids. Some good tips in the Worlds setup for high bite conditions.

From what I've read in this thread, a 7.0:1 FDR is a good place to start. So a 26 or 27T pinion would get you in the ballpark with either a 7.21 or 6.94:1 FDR. I race on a high bite clay track and my 13.5T only gets reasonably hot on a 6.96:1 FDR (78T spur/28T pinion).

Not really. Never have I seen one in any 4x4 buggy.

I glued the Txp to the ESC tray, right under the pinion gear.

Everyone ran the 2015 without the top decks. Right battery, right rx, left motor, left ESC, right servo.

The 2016 is designed only as such. It's no longer possible to run saddle packs etc. etc. IMO, the 16 is the better car.

Unrelated question... Are the diff gears on the XB4 the same as the ones on the NT1 sedan?

I had a B5m on high bite carpet that was 15 mm as I put too many limiters in it. 18 mm was ideal. But it was on rails. I Just had to perfect the landings and definitely not flat land it. The closer I landed to the top section of the back of the jump the better. It meant I could be on power immediately and quicker times.

Kyosho is 12mm, not 14mm. It's ok. Exotek has the math listed on their site.
