Has anyone tried the avid 1.5 in the front and rear. If so how was it. Mine will be here tomorrow and I'm not sure if I want to attempt to drill 2.

I am about to purchase xb4 4wd.
One of the guys in our track sales his 2013 one in 300$.
Can you tell me what are the differences between 2013 to 2014? And if 300$ worth it, or should I go on a new one?

Thanks
Eran

+1 for a used car that you don't know complete history, don't pay more then half and also get a guarantee that there is nothing mechanically wrong with it. But in the end getting your own kit to build yourself is the best option..

RTR 300$ go for it. If just roller you are overpaying. Stormers got a new kit 2014 for 399$ so no brainer go new.

Has anyone put different hexs on their car? I just got this car from a buddy and I have a TON of Kyosho wheels and would love to use them. Would the K hexes fit on the axles?

Please post up a review on these, I've thought about using them but for $70 a diff it's a bit pricey unless I know for sure they are worth it. I was thinking about just running the ball diff in the rear.

I test fitted the Exotek hexes and they work well, I'm going to burn through all my Xray wheels before I make the switch to 12mm. Not sure about the K hexes though.

The Exotek hexs accept Kyosho fronts, for the rear I believe you'll have to ream out the hole on the wheel.

I paid $200 for a roller with a ton of parts and upgrades. Check the classifieds there is always great deals there.
