My car is bordering that very same issue. By that I mean, if I clamp REAL hard on throttle, it will come around, if I roll ever so slightly for a split second, then clamp it, it'll rocket out of the turn. I'm actually very happy with mine right now and don't really want to change it.
Thanks, I'll check with RCMadness.

I had the same issue almost gave up on the car. Went to 5/2 on diffs and 1.4/1.0 on sway bars, 1 dot rear spring, losi black front spring, and long camber link. I also took out the rear spacer and sanded the bottom of the mount. Car is very good now from low bite to super high bite. I adjust steering epa for conditions, usually around 75%.

This kinda thing. I got some of the 7mm thick ones so I could use my old Caster wheels. Available in 4, 5, 6 & 7mm thicknesses.

I noticed on my car that the outdrive bearings inside the rear transmission housing pack up with dirt easily and create a bound drivetrain. I noticed my car was crazy hard to drive after about 2 race days. Very loose and broke rear traction a lot. I pulled 1 shield off of the bearing and cleaned them real good and re oiled. Now I face that side inwards. I clean them out after each race day and they stay very free and my car no longer drives bad. Now I am back in the top 2-3 every week.

Yellow losi rears are equivalent to 1 dot xray rears.

Are you guys using the Losi springs because of cost and convenience, or are you feeling a performance difference ?

I'm using Xray, TLR LF, TLR standard & AE springs - because I already have them!

I've stopped wondering about colours and brands and have made myself a chart with the springs in (pounds) lbs. There are so many set ups out there it just made more sense when trying things. Right now I'm running Xray 2 dot fronts and TLR LF whites. But you could do the same with other brands - just match up the spring weights.

Note - the AE BB springs have a slightly larger in ID than the Xray or TLR - so I use the AE lower spring cups as well. There is a little play at the top of the spring retainer, but nothing crazy. The TLR's however fit perfectly, top and bottom using stock Xray retainers/cups.

same here I only ask cause most local tracks do not carry xray springs so,we get a base line spring rate and tune from there

I felt like the TLR LF springs felt a lot better on my car, more plush and more traction.

No rear gearbox shim, outside hole on the rear shock tower, no front sway bar, AE Blue front springs and TLR LF pink on the rear. It steers but it could go more, thinking about playing with bump steer and/or raising the rear roll center with the bushings. But right now it turns well but if you hammer the throttle it just digs in and goes. With the gear box shim it'd want to get loose. At Super Cup last week I could watch some other guys buggies and tell who had the gear box shim and who didn't.

Yes, too bad the TLR LF fronts are for 2WD - much too light for 4WD.
