Making the car more narrow causes you to loose rear stability. Also i have gone to the old wc arms, and so has tebo. He says it lets you drive the car more aggressively into the corners. He also said that 95% of people will like the new a arms better. Its just his diving style.

The wider hangers will raise the roll center of the rear of the car, reducing rear traction in the corners. This gives more steering, and less rear traction.

The narrow hangers lower the roll center of the rear of the car, increasing rear traction in the corners. This gives less steering, and more rear traction.

I am running the narrow hangers.

May try this. What's traction like at your track? Did you do this to reduce steering, gain rear bite or both?

Traction at my track.. for clay.. is very high. Not as high as say the turf tracks in europe, but traction rolling can happen in some sections if not careful. Wheelies? no problem.

I moved back to the narrow hangers because I find the car (at least at my track, with our traction levels), has an unREAL amount of steering. The car is very very aggressive. The more aggressive a car is, the more room you have when shifting traction to the rear of the car. Running the narrow hangers lets me push the car very hard because it helps keep the rear end in check diving in to, and accelerating out of the corners. It was a tuning aid to help calm the car down.

Are there plans to finish out the steering system in aluminum with aluminum steering arms?

Well, tonight was a testing night for me. I ended up making the following changes (keep in mind i am running mid motor on a dirt track):

-went to 25 degree caster on the front bulkhead
-2 degree caster on front caster blocks
-went to the RF rear suspension holders

The cars rear end is more locked in then ever and the car has an insane amount of steering (insane as in just the way i like it )
also allowed me to drive the car much, much harder coming out of the corner, gained half of a second on fast lap.. wont be racing until wednesday though, taking a couple personal days off work and heading to the west coast for some family stuff.

With Gullwing or WC arms? I am thinking about trying the wide suspension mounts with the WC arms, or flipping around the gullwing arms and using the single hole that is there with RF2 suspension blocks. I agree this car has MAJOR amounts of steering, I can turn inside of B4.1's like they are not even there, have won a couple of races doing this. And have gotten a bunch of s**t from AE drivers because of it. The car is phenomenal in that respect, but in truth I could use dialing down a bit of steering so I am trying the 4 inserts in the caster blocks to tame the beast a bit. If only Losi could dream of having a car that is as long as the 22 and steers like an Associated. lol.... they got the 22 all wrong, just like the last few cars before.

From my B4.1 to the RB6 I dropped 3 complete seconds off my lap times on my track I raced on no lie.

When you mention WC arms, these are the 2-hole UM521 right? The 1-hole UM521-1 are the SP2 arms.

Going to stock up spares, are the stock front towers holding up? Thanks,
