1. Is this car easy to drive for asphalt on road racing ? In my country, on-road short course racing is becoming more popular. Racers usually piloting 4wd team losi scte and tekno racing 4wd. I want to use 22 SCT 2WD for simplicity reason. Am I going to be disappointed chosing 2WD truck ?

2. As part of on-road SC racing regulations in here ..... Racers are required to use 1/8 On Road GT Tires. Usually they use Sweep Racing tires. Therefore , 17mm Hex Adapter must be use for aforementioned tires. Is this fit ? MIP 17mm Hex Adapter Kit, Traxxas Slash 2wd #10114.

3. Do u have any suspension setup suggestions for asphalt racing ? Should I use middle or rear motor mount location ? I prefer to have stable rear end rather than fish tailing rear end.

Thank you for enlightening me.
Proline has some tires.

I have used the Proline Street Fighter in parking lot racing and they work very well. I have used the GLoc tread pattern on tires for the 4WD Stampede and they were very good.

The hex is the same but the offset is different. So SC10 wheels will bolt on to the 22sct but they would stick out past the body.

If you have the standard 0 offset rims they will, but if you have the +3 rims then they will stick out of the body a little.

have noticed my truck had the slipper friction pads (not hds) so i have an hds spur otw to run the hds pads.

not sure the small pads are enough for mod sct.

I run the SC10 +3 offset wheels on my 22SCT and they tuck just fine. On the SCTE on the other hand the do stick out past the body.

I love the new Proline EVO body. I got it for both my 2wd and my 4x4.

The kit body is really good. Any of the JC Hiflow work pretty well.

You could put a small notch in the pin where the set screw sets using a dremel. Clean all the parts especially the grub screw. Use good Loctite. I never had issues when I ran mine.

Has anyone been having binding issues with there Exotek bellcrank upgrade? I have a Spektrum 6040 and at full right turn, it binds. I get maybe 10% more left turn than right turn. I will take some pics when I get home but I need to know if anyone else has every experienced this issue. The actual TLR servo horn binds on the link that goes between the servo and the bellcrank. In Exotek’s directions, it shows using the new steering link off the TLR 22 2.0 (similar to team associated’s on the B5), but I cant buy just that link because TLR blows and only sells stuff as massive kits (unlink AE where you can buy just spring cups and don’t need to buy half the da*n shock all over again).
Any help would be appreciated.

Did you order the ExoTek servo mounts?
it shows that you'll need to install the servo from behind:

You don't have to use the 2.0 steering link/ends....did you follow Step 5 of the Exotek instructions?
