My son and I built a 22sct. We are new to racing and rc in general. I have a newbie question. On the setup sheets frank root's for example it lists rear hub spacing 0mm forward 4mm rear. I don't know the location being referred to. Unless its saying a 4mm spacer on the rear axel, pushing the rear wheels 4 mm outward? No spacers on the front axel? The setup sheet doesn't list a front hub spacing. I'm confused. Any help is appreciated.

Where the hub mounts to arm with the hinge pin, there is a gap between the two. Put 2-2 mil spacers between the hub and the arm.

0mm forward 4mm rear
Rear hubs spaced all of the way forward on the rear outer hinge pin....2 spacers rear of the hub on this pin.

Do we know if this is a new chassis (redesign), or is this going to be a 2.0 version with updated parts?

Frank just updated my SCT with your setup and it preformed flawless! Handled great, much great corner speed, and the loose feeling that I've had for the past couple years is gone! Thanks for the continuous help!

Says Who???????

And if this is true and they announce it in 2 months that means it will be 4-6 months before we see it. No sense in selling them yet.

why sell a proven truck? to have 100-200 towards another??? no thank you. i love my 22sct... ill keep it even if another comes out! it will just be a backup then. with the frank root setup (22T rear and the 22 2.0 front end) it is amazing. never do i finish out of the top 3 in pro2 local races.... usually TQ one or two heats and in contention for a win. with minor changes to the frank root setup.

In fact, i have all the carbon and tlr goodies i can find for it on the way

A heavier car is always easier to drive... slows things down, adds a little overall grip... BUT, it will generally be slower.

The new setup I posted was started with a shorty, and I ran it exclusively. I haven't run a full size pack in any of my 1/10th cars for almost a year now, want to be sure I am tuning for lighter weights to help stock racers out.

Are you running my full setup with all the parts, and it still is too loose with a shorty pack?

I tried a full pack and always thought it was better with a shorty on Frank's set-up. Granted I didn't try and tune the truck for it though. When the track was tacky, the truck was on a rail. I usually struggled when it was dry and slick. Hoping the 2.0 is out soon so can get back to running the 22. My buddy was going to let me run his, but added up what I would spend to build it, and just going to wait.
