That's pretty smart.. just giving a slight angle would allow the bearing to be raised a decent amount.
I wonder if this would help the high center diff temps some of you guys are seeing.

Would running two 3800 shorties wired as 4s (50c) be enough?

Depends on your ESC and motor.

Nice! Looks like I'll have to pick one up.

Rx8 gen2 and 1900 Tekin motor. For 10 min mains, I think the shorties will do well

A question for those using the Fioroni pistons. How far in oil weight should you drop? I'm currently using 700cst front and 35 Losi rear.

Thanks.

They should be OK. I ran two 2s4200 shorties in series for a while. Just make sure you set your LVC cutoff to 7.0V or higher. Over draining a lipo is the fastest way to ruin it.

BTW: With a 3800 pack you'll be lucky to get 10 minutes. With the same system I was pulling 400mA/minute the last time I checked.

i run kyosho gray fronts and kyosho green rears. i also used stk fronts and tekno red rears with gud results, didnt like the stk rears with the losi 35 wt.
the trac i run the most is a med/large fairly rough low/med bite and a couple of large jumps with landings.

To run the new gearbox do we have to use the straight cut ring gear or will the older one work just as well?
