Ha ha, I probably would have seen that kind of improvement if I could actually drive and knew more about set ups!

Ah well, being a beginner is still fun.

well depending on what csi blues you have I would think that fluid combination is way too heavy. I am running the vports and I am 30 and 27.5

Yea tell me about it. Been waiting more than a month now. Tekno kept telling me one more week and now they said a couple more weeks last Tuesday, apparently manufacturing issues. My guess is they r concentrating on the NB48, which is cool and all but don't forget about us.

I have the 8-port. I cant complain about them at all. I found that the heavier the oil the better they worked out. That oil weight is all around good for where i run. Indoor has some air with flat landings and the outdoor is spot on for that weight. The vports are a little different, they work better at a thinner oil compared to the old version (8-port).

I was thinking about converting mine to a sct.....not much ebuggy up here...

I may even just throw on the DE 17mm sct wheels and call it done...

I thought about putting the hexes on a lathe and buzzing them down a bit...maybe 2mm on each side......

But a conversion parts list would be nice.

From what I understand the NB48 is coming out in a month or so and then the ET/NT in October-ish. So going from 2 kits to 6 kits in 14 months could easily make the whole manufacturing process just a little bit more complicated for a team of 4 to handle (if this # is true, btw Ill quit my career as a VP in enterprise tech sales if you need people ha) and I know they can not predict manufacturing issues across the Pacific but I would perfect it before releasing all these kits and having a lot of unhappy people waiting months to receive their orders.

Trust me, this is all love for Tekno I have sold every RC I have to go 100% Tekno, I'd much rather keep my $ with a small independent entrepreneur but don't lose touch with the attention to detail and customer service that got you to where you are today.

After a whole mess of oil combinations, that is where I ended up too. 30 F / 27.5 R. I'm using AE oils so if you are using Losi, mine would have a bit more pack. What springs are you having success with? I've been trying everything. Lastnight I ran Yellow F / Red R. These CSI Blue V-Ports are very tricky to tune in my opinion, but when you get a setup that works, they work pretty well.

With the V-port, how do you stop the membrane from collapsing? Foam?

I dont think the csi pistons have enough blow by. The tolerance between shock bore and piston diameter is too tight. They just don't feel smooth to me.

I think the tekno machined 8x1.3s are the ticket.
