I've had both. Both of them warp, the RPM ones way quicker. FWIW from now on I store my truck with the shocks disconnected, but I haven't been doing it long enough to say if that fixes the problem or not.

Somebody posted a picture of the RPM arms that had broken a couple of weeks back. I've never seen or heard of anyone busting a stock one.

I run a 15 or 16 tooth pinion with the stock spur and the 4000kv pro4.

that was me who broke the arm...
The stock a arms dont break, the just bend/bow
The rpm arms can bend... with some nast hits, which I am fully capable of:lol:
they seem to ben at the inner hinge pin if the do bend at all. the a arm I broke got bent from casing and hooking the jump with the rear a arm, it bent, i heated it up and bent it back, then it broke hitting a steel upright i-beam.
all in all the rpm arms are stiffer and perform better imo.

Just bought a new 4x4 just to have a new kit even though it isnt new for long. :)
Quick question. Under the setup sheets in the back of the manual under "standard setup" which I am assuming is the kit setup of what we put on it while we are building the truck. It says 5k rear and 20k front diff oil is this accurate? I will still open them up to make sure there is enough fluid in them but wanted to know if that is really whats in the diffs. Also another question since my diffs are still new no runs on them and there is no wobbly outdrives should I still put more shims inside of the diff to help prevent it in the near future?

Roughly yes but a little more in depth than that.

In that case mentioned above, yes it will work for current Associated oils.

It won't work that way in all cases for all oils from all manufacturers though. To know for sure, find out the cst rating for the oils you're using. "Weight" ratings for oils are specific to each manufacturer. "cst" rating is an absolute value of the oil viscosity regardless of manufacturer.

I got a crazy question: I just got in a FT shocks for the front and it didnt come with any o-ring so I could do up my shocks emulsion style. Just the bladders why is this? When u can have a chose bewteen the 2 with the stock shocks. So I kinda modified the stock bladders to o-rings and they work 4 me better.

I didn't get the o-rings either. I e-mailed customer service with no response. Suppose I need to make a phone call.

They do not come with them. They are setup for a Bladder build. Emulsion is a choice and you need to purchase This Item to gain that option. The FT shocks aren't supposed to come with them. Check the picture of the kit laid out for visual proof.

They also do not come with the Shock Bushings if you needed/were thinking you got those too.

FYI! =D

Copy that, I was told they came in the kit. Shame on me. Thanks coyote!

I recently assembled my kit and it came with bladders and the rings. You may want to contact AE to check.

No no. They got the FT shock upgrades. The TRUCK KIT comes with emulsion. Yes. That's not what's being questioned.
