No no. They got the FT shock upgrades. The TRUCK KIT comes with emulsion. Yes. That's not what's being questioned.

ohhh, then you are correct you do not get the rings in just the shock kit only the bladders

does anybody know if there are any modifications I can make to be able to have an open enough space to swap out 3s batteries? as it stands, I have to go through a fifteen minute ordeal of removing the front clicker in order to move the belt out of the way and remove/insert batteries :flaming:

thanks

They do not come with them. They are setup for a Bladder build. Emulsion is a choice and you need to purchase This Item to gain that option. The FT shocks aren't supposed to come with them. Check the picture of the kit laid out for visual proof.

They also do not come with the Shock Bushings if you needed/were thinking you got those too.

FYI! =D

I got the O-ring on my kit. Running emulsion

You can put the lipo on the drive side. Remove receiver box and put the receiver without the box, and esc. I wanted to do that with my 2s but it would add too much weight on the driver side. I'm sure with 3s...it would be more heavy on the driver side. (and the motor is on that side too) you would need to add an antenna which is possible but I dont know which kind. I'm sure someone here can recommend one.

Does that sound right guys??? Anyone

Run a 2s battery, that will be easier. Or, if you simply have to run a 3s, don't run the belt tunnel depending on what kind of surface you race on. Also, look into a soft pack. That manufacturers post the spec (height, width, length, and so on) and you can check to trucks clearances before hand.

Good idea on the soft pack

I used to...or I do whenever I get chance...love that track!

old&slow 12-05-2011 10:41 PM

I tried wcrc a few times was a great track , nice layouts usually and was always fun watching the on road guys run during the down time waiting for lipos to charge.

Now they went off and banned all 1/8 scale off road cars so I am out as I usually like to run my buggies at the same time as my sc truck.

It is purely ocrc and lrh now in the oc for me , and then a few hauls out to revelation in ontario when I really want to break some parts on their awesome outdoor track.

I think the banning of 1/8 scales was due to liability.

I was upset also when they banned 1/8 scale, I still have my Hyper 9 which I put a lot of money into and never really used. But been very happy racing my SC10 2&4wd

I am at WCRC almost every week, I try to race 1 or 2 times a month. Wish I could race more often. Great track, great crowd, and Danny puts money and ideas into his track keeping it fun. I save the 1/8th scale Hyper 9e for Revelation, so I don't miss it.
