Thanks for the feedback fellas. I think I will try either the HW 120 amp or the SC8 120 amp esc. Both under 100$. Since I have many receipts for Castle I will return the MMP then sell it and buy one of the other one's. I usually love castle but this one esc is not working with me. I have the same esc in my Losi scte paired with the 3800 motor and it rocks. Nice power band and it never gets hot. I will say one thing tho, (you guys may hate this) the Losi IMO can be driven harder and faster for me. I tried the same driving style with the sc10 and it wasn't cutting it. But I think after I get it tuned a little more and do the pin mod I will be right there if not better. Going to do the mod tonight since I got some bits now and in the morning I will try it out on my track. Here is a short video of my track. It is still being worked on in the center, I will add 2 more lanes and take the double out of the straight. BTW, this is my wife with her rc8t.

I told u guys about those hard anno diff gears a week ago, u have to use the factory gasket on them if u want it to work, as far as idler gear goes, there tolerances are off on it, not lining up properly, so it weres unevenly, give it about one more race day and it will be in pieces!!!! This is experience talking , i am not impressed with hotracing products at all!!!!

I have been an associated fan for many years. Since the gold pan buggy days. But the frustration with all the mods that needed to be done just to get this truck to handle half way good has been just rediculous. I have decided to hang it on a nail in the garage. Just not worth all the work anymore. I could understand a few flaws here and there and a few bugs getting worked out. But it's just too much. I drove a losi this weekend and it was insane. So I have gone to the dark side of the force and bought a Losi. I hate to walk away but this truck is not worth all the stress. Sorry guys.

Cant really blame as you are right BUT hang on to the AE, they have more world championships for a reason, the truck WILL and IS coming around. and what are the excessive mods you are talking about? front arms( i think the newer ones are fixed as my second pair did not warp)sway bars ,pinning and slipper discs are really the only major mods needed??? the fast losi's are not box stock and also require the same if not more in mods.

dont need the chassis brace

After doing the pin and chassis brace mods and waiting 3 weeks for my replacement havoc pro sc esc I ran the truck today at local track. First pack was excellent. Truck had awesome power and brake. Very controlled compared to before. I have never seen a mod that made a bigger difference in an rc car. Truck was very fun to drive and fast. Second pack half way through run esc f'ed up again. Lost trhottle completly then after reset limited motor power less than 50%. I can deal with mods for performance but this esc shi# is workin my nerves. I neec suggestions for esc that can handle 4.5 550 motor with ease for more than 1 or 2 packs. Looks like another 3 weeks with no racing or buy something else boo.

i am in the same boat! this MMP is horrible, even with a BEC it still acts up, so choice is either RX8 ( i have crap for luck with Tekin so im not doing it) or the new hobby wing that is out of stock........

I am ditching my mmp for either the xerun 120 amp or the hw sc8 120 amp. Apparently many people are having great success with this esc.

This one is in stock and from reading reviews it's pretty solid. I think I am going to try it out. Being a Castle fan and having bad experiences with Tekin I think this esc may be my ticket.

I've had my MMP for 2years. Been Working like a Dream. even plugged the battery wires in once and a puff of smoke came out of it. (a month or two of owning bullet batteries) and it still works to this day. I love it. Other than going Sensored, I will not buy anything else.

Can someone help me with the size of the spacer that goes under the camber rod. And do you do this in the rear only or front and rear.

Welp, normal Sunday All day at the track day.

No losi's today. 2 slashes, 1 ofna, and 1 other sc104x4.

We tore them up. Him and I were down right fast. He had the same track line in mind that I did so it was fender to fender awesome runs. He had a camera on his rig through some of it so i'm really hoping it gets on here and posts it like I asked. If you read this, Great driving!

I tore up another Idler gear today, and replaced it on the bench in 20minutes. My slipper is 1mm from flush, with stock pads and I stripped it. Which worries me. But I have 4 more. For 5 hours of fun. It was worth a fix.

This truck. I'll be a broken record: Kicks so much more butt now. I am a proud AE driver once again. The guys pulled off the track and just watched us battle it out and enjoyed every minute of it. Looking forward to tons more. My batteries are starting to go. Venoms that are a year old now and ran hard. They're starting to get warm and my motor temps are going up. (not a pinned mod difference, Already tested and taken into account. This is after that)

So it looks like i'll be eating my words about those damn Gen ace batteries and trying a handful. I'll use my T/P Batteries for race only.

Putting it on the table and tearing down a little bit and going over everything.

Edit: as far as the emulsion: I noticed it hates big bumps, but breezes the little ones. Being sideways and hitting a bump doesn't flip me as much. (sways, placement's same) So I'm happy with that. I don't like hearing it bottom out just on two sections but I can live with it. Lesser Evil.
