You're a crappy Libertarian if you judge one solely on one aspect of their social interaction on an internet forum. Try going outside and getting some sun
It'll make you feel better. Really. If you're seriously going to go out of your way to go off topic to insult somebody on a toy car forum, perhaps it is you that doesn't even own an RC and is "beating behind the bush" on mommy's computer...whatever that means

Seriously, try to make some sense when you post. Just because it's something your older brother who's a Junior (UPPERCLASSMAN! TOTALLY COOL!) in high school said doesn't mean it's smart or even funny.
More to the point, none of the posts ThunderbirdJunkie has seen you make in this thread pertain to the SC10 4x4...or RC at all...so where are you really going with this?
Oh, come on T-Bird. Every other aluminum chassis has a chassis brace, in fact multiple styles of chassis braces. Is that because of a poor product design in those other trucks? No. People tune and tweak their trucks accordingly to there desires. I was running saddle packs, and never had an issue due to flex. If you run a stick pack in the truck, there is no need for the chassis brace at all.
I dont know what is up with the a arms, but the second set f stock a arms have not bowed on my truck. With that said, I did go ahead and by the RPM a arms, and they seem to be better.
It is easy to be a back seat driver, a monday morning quarterback.... just saying.

BECAUSE OF THE FLAT CHASSIS with very little support otherwise.
In case you haven't noticed, AE's SC10 4x4's chassis is not flat. Show ThunderbirdJunkie an RC that has a chassis that isn't flat that requires a brace to prevent the drivetrain from coming apart under normal use.
Seriously, do you people even think before you post stupid shit like this?
People who buy the top end corvette are still buying aftermarket parts to make it faster...people who buy the top end ferrari are still trying to find ways of making it faster too...hell, I've seen lamborghini's with dual two stage aftermarket turbos, and even Bugatti's original Veyron with it's massive 1001HP....people wanted more, so they came out with the grand sport with even MORE power and a stiffer chassis....
no matter how well something is built, people will want more....

For those of you who have pinned the slipper, have you run it with the clicker unlocked? If so what sort of difference did you notice?
I haven't had the time to implement the mod yet, but it seems like running the clicker unlocked would increase the turn in that seems to be lost when the slipper has been modified. Cerainly impoves turn in my unmodified truck. Just a thought.
Maybe I missed mention of this some where back there many posts ago...

Mantis would be the person to ask on this, while mine is pinned, I've yet to get it really tested out on the track, however pavement and the little track time I have had there's a huge noticeable difference and how well the truck plants itself.

So t-bird, with your logic, there should be no falt chassis without a chassi brace? wrong. either way it is besides the point , in which you have none, othere than to prove to yourself that your the smartest person in your universe. I think most will agree with me when I say I am done with you BS. good luck with life.
I will drive my bandaid ridden sc10 4x4 in bliss
I will do a teardown and post some pick of the hard anno diffs after the this weekend.

In the Last 10 pages, we've kinda gone astray. This is partly due to me as much as anyone else.
T-bird: You really don't argue very well yourself. If I remember something I didn't like, It means that person was right? You retort with a "I know you are but what am I" attitude and are on an "out of the box" high horse. I don't think many would disagree with this. That aside, you do know 'stuff' and maybe consider that you, yourself are on a forum as you alerted Sour, yourself. There's no face to hang with the comments to shrug you off. The "It's broken" thing is tiring and old for the guys who are trying.
Craig: I've noticed you had alot of good things to say, alot of great input, and really a huge help to all of us. But: slowly you're moving towards putting people down in general and not reading the point of a post, quoting it anyway, and make your own point out of it. 'People should figure it out for themselves' (as stated towards me) and comments like 'a lie to make yourself feel better'. Cjt is right. That wasn't the point at all.
You other guys just blurting at the mouth, Shut up. The mommy comments? Moron? Really? I thought we were grown ups. If you want to argue a point, Think it through and post with intellect. It sure packs a much bigger wallop than "uh, ur dum. so ther."
BACK TO SC104x4 TUNING! There should be way more talk about tuning with the pinned shaft. Not this garbage. I apologize for somewhat "re"-initializing it.
Edit: I realize I may be making enemies with this. But this is my opinion and I hope it can be respected if even somewhat. I'm not here all of a sudden to throw my weight around or act high and mighty. I mean that very much.

I pretty much give everyone a good read...T-bird not so much based on the 3rd person typing which leads me to believe that he's not serious with his posts so I pretty much just glance at them...sorry T-bird, it's just my opinion...I'm looking for helpful info for my truck, not someone's political alignments or defending your 3rd personism

But I didn't post that directed at anyone, so if anyone is miffed, well, sorry, and lets move on past this touchy feely....stuff.
Old N Slow sent me some carbon tube to finish up my belt stablization device. I also used a couple of JRX-S rod ends, #4 washers, an old shock spacer, and a 4/40 to hold the whole mess together. It nests into the tube perfect yet still allows a certain amount of flex. Underpower, it's totally under compression, so no big deal.

Rear:

The big washer on top helped the material out a bunch (I'm not so concerned with bending forces causing punch and sheer now). Installation of it had another curious positive effect.
The truck is deadly silent now. I assume the belt was deflecting the tunnel enough that it hit it. It's way quiet now.
Notice the 550 Novak with NO GRINDING to install it? I think it's time to start using the timing boost.

Hey thanks man, that means a lot. There are other users here who deserve just as much of an attaboy, and I'm sure you didn't mean to sell them short.
