"- Transformer! 8mm adjustability for wheelbase, transforming your buggy into short course!"
LOL, you can turn it into a 1/10ths SC truck that is belt drive..........LOLOLOLOLOL |
Well they already know the sc104x4 dominates indoor lol, oh and on carpet. Arguing with these guys is a waist of time. I seriously doubt there is a truck that's perfect for every possible scenario, you know what I do is go buy another truck I think would do better at what I'm doing. I guess the trucks not for you guys, why keep coming on this thread and complaining about it every single day? I just don't get it....Go buy a $400 Tekno and we'll see ya back here in a couple weeks lol.

Ae just posted John's winning set-up on www.rc10.com
Johns ride has a alloy rear hub , not a EXo . Not sure who makes , it is black in color . The hub has ears just like the kit hub so you can attach the Ae C-hub for extra strength .. Rest of his truck is all standard Ae including the VTS slipper.... |

Ultimately I come back here as I enjoy helping others with the vehicle so they don't get frustrated and test the used market. And as has been stated, I made my switch because of parts compatibility with my 1/8 Tekno EB48 buggy. But hell, if that's not desired, no sweat off my back. Later Everyone, its been a blast! |
Either hub will work, why spend the cash on exotek if what they have is already working just fine. I put the exotek hubs on mine but I didn't have the B4 mod. Im happy so far....
|
Standard kit hub packs the most bang for the buck for sure ...
Metal stronger though , and can use grub screws to secure the pin for less play and do make for great eye candy Not like I condemn using or trying ... Like a set myself for the PINK in fact ....:) Just think it's important to know there's a hub with ears to also consider... |

What seem to be the general conciseness on a shock oil weight to use. I have the big bores with the bleeder on top and will be racing on a outdoor track with loose dirt. Any help would be great guys.

Lets keep it that way ...:) I'm probably gonna make it brushless first the buggy can wait. I love the buggy class thou, hence why I bought a B4.2 Factory Team. My vote is for Cain to stay in the thread, he's just as helpful as you George Cherry. If you can ignore the bad posts the thread gets cleaned up alot. |
I've got a question, I bought the exotek shock caps but they didn't put the tiny little bleeder hole near the threads, why I dont know but I like emulsion style shocks a little better. But I built them as usual with out bladders and they seem to work pretty good.i cant find any info. I filled them up to the brim and gave them a few pumps and backed off the bleeder screw and heard air come out. Is this correct?

All this talk has got me planing for a run with the Sc 4w soon.:deathstar
Been running 2w & 4w bug for almost a month now. Red Suggest doing just like your been ,cept donot pump up the shock before. fill the shock to top with oil, pump piston up & down to clear air. Shaft fully extended ,install cap with bleed screw removed. Push piston to top bleeding excess oil. Then install bleed screw. |
