the shiny CVA's are just bling or they are lighter than the original ones?

CoyoteSlash: have you measured the slipper adapter ( the piece that is stepped and goes on first)? some guys got ones too thin

What is this Blitz doing in this thread - :D
Will try to sneak it in the 2wd SC class -:lol:
Made the Blitz body fit - while I work on the new body.
Been very happy with the RX8/1410 combo so far (street testing).
Loads of torque. Had to gear up and add timing to get top end speed.
Will take it to the track this weekend.
Please dont mind the ugly wiring.
I did not want to cut the wiring yet for the 1410 until I am happy with it's performance on the track :tire::tire::tire:

[QUOTE=Bburns;9237814]To do the Tekno metal hex conversion you will need:

TKR1654X- Tekno metal hex
TRA2754- Traxxas axle pins
TRA3971- 6x9.5x5mm Teflon washer

TRA3971 is an invalid part number. The correct # is TRA3981.

Yep your correct. Stupid typo I didn't catch. Thank you for catching that.

10+ feet. It's just slipping for days, Fully Compressed Spring on the slipper too. When I replaced the 1415 with the 1410 and ran the white SC10 2x4 pads, it was a rocket. Felt great, Minus temps, so I put in the 1415, and same pads, (no loss of thickness on pads) and now it does this for days, like I said, fully compressed, at least 8-10 feet.

Get a new slipper spring. If it is fully compressed, it can no longer do its job. Trust me on this, happened with a buggy before.

I was thinking the spring seemed all wrong. Thank you. I will do that next.

So far I have tried 93/20 and 93/22
RX8 Settings:
Current Limiter - 80
Timing Advance - 20 (Start low until I find the right gearing)
93/20 - 7min - 109* ESC / 112* Motor
93/22 - 7min - 100* ESC / 110* Motor
Condition - Street testing - 70* outside temp
Lots of WOT, Braking, turns, etc.
Temps could either go higher or lower at the track.
My local track is Outdoor packed dirt - medium to low traction.

20t was undergeared. It had loads of torque and top end was not so good.
With 22t - the bottom end calmed down a bit and the top end really woke up.
Big difference in performance - yet temps were better.
I will try 23 or 24 next and see how it goes.
Might have to decrease Current Limiter if track is really loose.

Hello, I think the swaybars you have build will bind because of the eyelets you have used. They have to be turned a bit towards the wire, so that the studball can turn freely. I could be wrong but try it. Put the shocks away and lift both arms. The springy feeling should be only mentioned beyond the the shocks movement.

Thanks. I adjusted setup by removing a bit more material. I ended up using 2mm in rear as well. Here is how it moves :

So what set-up sheet is a good starting point for a loamy/dusty track, quite small
