SC10 4x4 Thread

I've raced mine 5 times so far. 4 times without sway bars and today with. Correct tires and sway bars are by far the best tuning options you can do for the handling on this truck. I made mine out of Jammin hardware and music wire. I'm sure the associated units will be better once the average Joe can get them, but if you have access to anything that will work its well worth it.

what?
are you talking about the LRP 550 motor with the 5mm shaft? Use the included 32 pitch spur with a 32 pitch 5mm shaft pinion. I wouldn't run the 48 pitch spur/pinion when running a 550 motor.

For this kit, yes. Do yourself a favor and pull the shocks apart, remove the screw holding the piston on the shaft, add blue loctite and reassemble. There has been issues with them coming apart. Take the diffs apart and make sure they are full. Most people are running anywhere from 5-50k in the front and 3-5k in the rear...up to you

5k~50k is huge range... any recommendation for loose dirt?
you guys are awesome

Sway bars built! AE31264 and LOSB2222 and about 13 inches of 2mm music wire. Previous articulation was about 4 inches, now cut down to 2. It's gonna be a long week until track time Thursday night!!! I'm scared, it was so good already, i hope i didn't wreck it!!!

running lrp x-12 540 8.5 t with 13mm rotor. tekin rs. no timing on motor or esc. sensored mode. 17 tooth pinion. about 180 at motor after 7 min. main. pushing 200 after 10 min. tight indoor clay track. a little hot for my tastes. what motor fans/ heat sinks have u guys got to work? if I drop any more on pinion I loose too much top end.

I have searched this thread and I may have over looked it, but is everyone running 27mm ride height? I am running 35wt in the front shocks and 30 in the rear. I know the oil doesnt matter on ride height, but I just thought to throw it in there. thx
