I personaly have build THREE of these SC10 4x4's for myself and buddies... without a single issue of any kind. I've also raced mine a couple times and we raced on the weekend again with no issues.

On second thought....
There is one way the CvD pin could come out , a loose wheel nut perhaps ?
Seen some use other brand wheels & their fit is not the same as the Ae so the lock nut does not fit correctly and comes loose when on the track...

It just sounds like a faulty part.

i agree faulty part . call AE they will take care of you .. might take a while tho . tower has the inner axles in stock if you cant wait for AE .

Has anyone noticed the out drives getting sloppy in the diff gear housing. My cups are starting to develop a lot of movement. The o-rings seem to be sealing the fluid still but this stuff is so thick it take weeks to leak out anyway.
Any thoughts on this? Maybe AE did not grease the shafts when assembling the diffs?

I am about to buy a SC10 4x4 and was wondering what the best motor esc combo would be. I usually prefer to run tekin since its the brand I know but I am open to other brands. I will be running it on a large 1/8 scale clay track and also a small 1/10 scale loose dirt track. I have been trying to read through all the posts in this thread but still unsure which motor\esc to get.
thanks
