Diameter is one of the paramaters used to determine the rate of the spring...If you permanently change diameter you change the rate of the spring.

They dont go on the hub, there are 2 parts to the 8mm mod. Part 1 is installing the carbon hub, part 2 is raising the inner ballstud 7mm to compensate for the increased height at the hub. In order to raise the inside by that much you need the extra length the 12mm stud offers.

I hope that clears everything up.

I understand that, like stated earlier I was one of the first to do this mod...... From the way the question was asked it seemed like it was being stated to use 12mm ballstud with the cf hub mod...... :D

Can we stop talking about the 8mm mod now? I've stopped reading the thread because it's 9/10 posts about the damn mod a page. It's plastered over the last 175/200 pages guys. Go look it up.

Let's move on to more theorycrafting and tuning...

It's a dead horse that we keep beating the crap out of. If we're going to speak about it, at least bring something new to the table (not directed at anyone in particular).

I just want to run my truck. Lack of a 63-tooth spur gear is preventing that right now.

anyone try weight in both the front and the back at the same time?

really like the 2oz behind the battery, and have been thinking about 1/2 oz on each side in the front too for awhile.
