I just bought a RTR with the FT conversion. I normally race onroad but wanted to try something else. My LHS recommended this truck over the Losi as it's layout is more similar to the TC's I'm used to working on and the weight transfer will be similar as well during acceleration and braking. I know the question has been asked and I did search for a clear answer but I didn't see anything specific. After talking to a friend of mine that races offroad, I was told I should've bought the Losi as it is more durable, so my question is, does the SC10 4x4 break parts often. Keep in mind I'm a noob to offroad so I expect some rough landings.
Any feedback would be great. Also suggestions on spares to keep on hand.

With the Stock Losi I had awhile back the diff pins blew within day, the stock towers bent very easily, the front and center diff's leaked faster then the sc10 due to the wobbliness of the front drive shaft......
After owning my original SC10 the only thing I've broken was one stripped servo horn, and one servo saver and thats all........
Thanks!
I want to try the exotek but my truck is already heavy as it is. It is noticeably heavier than one of the Losis at my track. I haven't put it on a scale but it is about 6.75 pounds RTR

It is more durable then the losi especially stock vs. stock..........

What is preferred swaybar setup for medium sized technical tracks?
I went with orange front and rear.
I've only ran mine once so far on my track and it was all over the place. The truck had zero traction anywhere. I know a lot of that was because I was running the rtr tires but still I would have thought it would have drove halfway decent.
I'm throwing some calibers or tazers on it this week and give it a try again with the same swaybar setup.

Strc aluminum steering, strc front & rear arm mounts.
I think mine its about as heavy as you can get it and a lot of people comment on how planted it looks on the track. Indoor or outdoor it's fast.
