What is a good steering servo for this truck? I looked on the first page but I don't seem to see any servo info there, or I'm just missing it.

I use a JR 9100S but I've seen Associated 1015 and Spektrum 6040 used successfully.
A servo with some 'yank' in it gives much more crisp and 'assertive' response to the somewhat porky SCTE.... Porky in a VERY good sense, BTW!
I've used the Savox 1257TG and 1258TG - both have worked well. The 1258 has a little more grunt.
Most importantly - make sure your servo saver is TIGHT!

Rebound Settings in TLR Setups?
Hi,
I have just spent around an hour reading the posts on setting rebound (how to's as well as some personal preferences), and was wondering whether the TLR team mind sharing any useful tips on rebound amounts? I don't seem to see that item in the setup sheets.
I am running standard (ie non-emulsion) for the moment and when I took the shocks off from the factory they seemed to be set with no rebound.
I know it may be dependent on track conditions, driving style, temperatures, (also the phase of the moon in Venus and the election cycle), but if people don't mind sharing a little then I would really appreciate learning a little more.
Thanks!

What I found, however is that setting up with more than 1/4 rebound dramatically negative effects on my trucks handling. It felt twitchy and less planted.

Thanks for the info. What is the recommended spur gear...40? I like to have some good power but im worried about getting my electronics too hot.

Yes 40t spur. Put a 13t pinion on it, no timing and check temps. That will tell you if you can gear up. And use a temp gun.

So - I watched tr Adam Drake video on building 8ight shocks and setting rebound and tried to apply the same concepts to the SCTE shocks. However, what I found was without the foam compensator and space above the bladder, there is less room for the bladder to move into when the shaft is pushed in. So what happens when you try to set up for 3/4 or full rebound you end up not being able to push the shaft in at all. The most I could manage with full compression was about 1/2 rebound.
What I found, however is that setting up with more than 1/4 rebound dramatically negative effects on my trucks handling. It felt twitchy and less planted.

I like the jc high flow but just got the new losi one all painted and ready to try
Thanks guys...
