Do you guys know what the offset rims the SCTE uses ? And i noticed also there might be a tight spot or something on the spur gear because i had my gear mesh set with a little bit of play well i take it off the track and theres no play and i turn the spur gear around more and there is play I did use a washer and blue locktight on the top motor mount screw maybe the motor mount moves or something ?

Check the bearings that the center diff rides in. I have noticed the same thing happening when mine start going bad.

Hey symm, how is the carbon fiber chassis looking on the bottom now? do you have a wrap or anything on it to prevent scratching or is it wearing fine as is? I need to trim my scte down a bit, sitting at 6lbs 12oz rtr as is.

I bought mine direct from KHZ shipped it quick and its a great part. Their chassis goes one step further and rotates the mount.

What offset rims do the SCTE use without mods ? And i did not break the bumpers lol.
Im going to just cut off part of the rear bumper i thought the mud flappers keep the truck cleaner but they dont lol . But they look cool !

RCman: Il look around other online stores or the King Headz site to get it does it work on the stock chassis though ?

Tekno stuff is really strong! I would say they are more durable without trying it out first.

they use a zero off-set wheel. the one's that i know of that fit without trimming:

-stock losi wheels
-DE racing SCTE
-jconcepts rulux SCTE wheels (would stay from these, they have cracking issues)
-AKA cyclone SCTE (haven't seen these in person yet)

i have only used stockers or the DE wheels.
