Reading through the thousands of threads trying to catch up is a killer. Just bought mine two weeks ago and only drove it once out if the box with stock set up. Love this truck so far and can't wait for a full practice day. Bumper did break after my first lap. Killer nose dive over a large jump on a 8th scale track. But SEF(member who won the Losi series in so cal on the first read up page) helped with my setup the nxt day so I hope the diving stops. Just a few questions I'm wondering about tonight. First, the plastic body parts that came with the tools, how and where do they go and what are they used for? I'm new to short course. Next, where are most putting cooling holes, the window? And like I said I'm on a large track and race all my club races there. What's the best tip for when the wind catches the body? And any replacements for the rear bumper besides stocks? I'm using a t8 2050 for fun practice days and the havoc 4.5 on race. Should I use different diff setups for each motor?
Thanks in an advance.

I ended up in the C main ( I think I ended 24th overall) and failed to transfer due to a wreck after the second turn that I couldnt make up for. Oh well, next time!!!
Sucks, that`s why they call it racing and not ???? Anything else! Sometimes Racing just Sucks, that's why Winning is soo Grand!!

I will admit tho, i was pretty rough on the truck. But I will never buy Jammin product products for the losi again.

I have a TLR kit on the way. Hopefully these will be a bit stronger.
HaHa ,The Jammy stuff is only 3mm thick while the Losi is 4mm thick! I gave so much money to those Kooks when I had a Jammin I swore to never give them another dime! But PegaSucks didn't have the Losi ones in stock so went with the Jammy 1sT Right? I broke the front so am running the stock front now and the Slammy rear!! Quit landing on your rear bumper LOL All is holding up soo Farr!!

Absolutely Avid. Had trouble with Boca in the past. Had to file a claim against them for a supposed lost shipment. Im in Saint Petersburg, FL a few hours from where there located. They gave me nothing but a hard time. Crappy CS. The person I talked to didnt even have a clue about anything to do with RC. Bunch of super tools there. They sell bearings for everything imaginable with no real knowledge of RC applications.

540 4-pole motors or 550 are both good. Right now it's a pretty general consensus that the Tekin Pro4 540 4-pole motor is the best on the market for this truck. Which kv to use is dependent on your track. There are other great options as well, but if you want the best of the best, the Pro4 is it right now. I was running the Castle 1410 before and also loved it, but the Pro4 is other worldly 550's are going to go the way of the dinosaur in my opinion. Great for the time and filled the gap needed until the 4-pole motors started hitting in masses. 540 4-poles offer more torque, better top end and the motors are lighter. Advantages in every possible area.

I'm running the Hitec 7955 TG and it's doing very well.
