they are quite fast even with 2 pole motors in it, 5.5 - 8.5 seems to be what most people run. i'd definitely be cautious with that torquey 4 pole motor, especially with the plastic diff and pinion gears this car has. make sure you adjust the slipper on the loose side

Try green up front it's dialed on a medium size medium bite clay track!!

Good to hear. I have green fronts as well. I will have to try them. Can not wait to try the car with the springs though. Going to start with 35wt front oil and 30wt rear as well.

I don't know he may be ok. The b44 drive train is pretty much a tc3 drive train and on YouTube they have some tc3 on 3s
lipos doing 120 mph. But the 4 pole motor will have crazy torque in this little buggy. It sounds like a fun back yard basher for sure. Post a video on YouTube with the 4 pole I'm sure it would be funny to watch....!

My Viper system quit working in my B44 today so I put in a Castle Sidewinder ESC and a Castle 3800KV 4 pole to see how it would do. I like it better than the Viper 10R with Viper 6.5 motor. This thing is crazy quick now. There are to triple jumps on my backyard track that I couldn't clear with the Viper gear because of short run ups but I'm getting them now with the Castle combo. I think I'm going to get the Viper stuff fixed and sell it and keep the Castle combo in my B44. I think it's either the sensor wire or sensor board thats bad because the ESC wont sink with the motor now? Oh yeah the Castle stuff is staying a lot cooler also. The Viper ESC and motor would get pretty warm even in 50 degree temps.

I have had it happen a couple times but it was due to thrashing it. Don't over tighten them and be sure your top deck is tight. No sure fix that I know of?

thank you! I will double check the screws and the top deck. I race on a very tight technical track.. it is very hard to hit the backsides of each jump. A lot of air.. but have to use very little throttle if u want to hit them right... Everyone does a lot of flat landing.

Running a viper 6.5 with stock spur what size pinion should I be running on a small to medium size track? I dont have a temp gun but my motor and esc seem to be getting a little to hot.
