to the guys that have run both regular batteries and shorty packs indoor on clay tracks... which do you prefer? Ive only run mine on high bite clay with a shorty pack and it was good butt a lot of the locals said the car is even better with a regular battery but dont have one to compare.

Did you try the Losi ones? My car felt awesome when i put them on. Just ignore the 14 year old

I might go and try the old springs, just to see the difference. I will probably go back to the BB though

I ran a shorty on a med bite track. It was better, just never had the time to get used to it. The top guy at a high bite track (francis) says he likes the shorty just a little better.

The Reedy is smooth not just an opinion. I was mad when it didnt have the torque I liked so I talked to some pro drivers at Motorama who said the Reedy was smoother.

reedy is smoother, but lrp has more torque

you can always gear a smoother reedy for more torque. the two motors arent supposed to be geared the same with the same timing settings...

looking at maifields gearing with the lrp motor he was at 81/23 with -10* timing (reedy 2011), with the reedy motor he is at 78/20 with 15* timing (reedy 2012)

So guys what should I do my b4.1 fells very bouncy with the bb spring I run silver in the front and yellow in the rear 30wt shock oil in front piston #2. In rear I run 27.5 wt shock oil with piston #2. The weird thing is I drove my brothers car with the same exact setup and it felt plusher.

try white in the rear and make sure your ride height is correct

so generally speaking would i be right with the assumption that the car would easier to drive with a long pack? the layout it pretty flowing but still technical.
