Grats on the trophy Guy, it was a fun race. At least the last few laps was clean, LOL! I still feel horrible about what happened 13 seconds into this vid.

Any of you ever had a problem keeping your spur gear from wobbling? I installed new gear, new slipper and pads, new bearings inside of case, new spring and washer and nut. No luck. I did not change the top shaft, but I just really don’t think it could be bent. To be honest I don’t think the spring sits square on the slipper plates. Almost as if un even pressure is being applied to the slipper. Any thoughts?
I think 20+ pages straight were about Losi BB springs, lol
But to answer your question. Yes a lot of people are using. yes they make a difference to a point. Do they make you faster? to a point yes. do they feel different, yes.
Are they worth it. To me yes they are. to others maybe not so much.

[QUOTE=Wild Cherry;10286622]Not unusual to find a bent top shaft , also motor plate ....
I guess I will change the top shaft and see what we get. I'm just thinking that if the shaft was bent the spur would kind of move up and down not move in out.
If the spur is wobbling as bad you sound , most likely one or the other ....[/QUOTEI guess I will change the top shaft and see what we get. thanks

Yep, but with mine its because the machined areas on the top shaft that accept the back slipper plate are off. I contacted associated today and they are supposed to be sending out a replacement for that and rear hubs. The left side 0* hub included with my worlds kit is machined much to large for the bearings. You can actually watch the inner bearing spinning in the hub when you hold the car up. Not to mention how far you can move the drive shaft back and forth within the hub...
