Full sized pack with red and white? May be a little soft for a full pack depending on the pack. Plus weight? Springs will be too soft imo. Might want to have some orange and yellow on hand just in case.

Cherry. Dude.

0.030in = 0.762mm. The average mustache hair is 0.25mm.

You really thought it necessary to point out that you use a 1mm shim vs. a 0.762mm one?

like you feel the need to point out the difference between the two...

Agreed. Same thing with bearings. For most applications abec 3 or 5 are the most common. Abec 7 have the least play and stricter tolerances, but cause too much friction and resistance. With abec 7 bearings you woud have no slop at all in your bearings, but they would have too much rolling resistance. Sometimes a little play is a good thing, and there for a reason for that.

Reducing some play for onroad maybe... But off road? The car is already bouncing about in the dirt, clay or carpet. Is taking out .030 of slop really needed?

Anyone see something interesting with this b4.1?

Found out why fast:
"You're not crazy, Ty did that himself. He chopped off the sides, did some dremel work, and re-epoxied the sides to the narrowed chassis. Pretty slick if you ask me. He could possibly be running a proline 22 body on there, as well, to compensate for the narrower profile."

He's been running that for quite a while now. About 7 months now. http://vimeo.com/36154887

Yeah, it is great that he hacked off a lot of the structural integrety of the car, only to re-epoxy some side on for looks. On top of that, it's a truck chassis.

It is definitely not magic....

I'm a "newbie" and have a question. I'm heading to the track this weekend for the first time and got everything packed away nicely in my rolling tool box. How do you guy's transport your cars? Everything fit in my tool box but the car.
