I don't have the big bores but I just installed Dubro heavy duty captive rod ends on the back of my T4 and without the spacer (just using a washer) it looks like it moves it quite a bit further from the spring. I'm at work at this point so I can't get a pic of it.

Until you try one, you just won't know the benefits you are missing. With lipo/brushless technology the slippers out today can't handle the power delivered. You are either locked or slipping. We just all learned how to drive the car with it locked basically.

The full press release will have all the details but the main highlights are 3 slipper pads, 3 drive plates, precision spurs, and lighter than a stock vented B4 slipper.

David,

Thanks for the info. It looks like the tabs that the slipper pads lock into are molded into the spur. Is that correct?

Kyosho has already released a New Buggy and AE can't even release/make BB shocks for the 1/10th buggy/SCT.

I think the slipper system on RM's buggy was the SC10 4x4 FT VTS system.

Any idea on when it will be released? I am getting ready to order a few things from Avid and I can wait a little longer for when this comes out to add to my list

Word! The spurs are machined?

It is most likely probably pretty similar to the VTS from AE directly, slipper plate, slipper, the spur is standard AE style spur but a Plastic locking piece fits in, then slipper, drive plate, slipper, sealing plate, spring nut... or something similar...
Got to be able to sell the spurs to everyone not just those who are buying full setup

Thats why I was wondering. Seems odd if they were molded into the spur. Did you ever try the VTS slipper in any of your cars yet? I see some of the AE team drivers have. But never noticed it on yours.

Yeah well what makes the "new" buggy "new"?

Yes, the spur gear is molded and it has drive dogs on both sides for the slipper pads. Once you see them both side by side you'll see it's got quite a few differences with the VTS slipper.

Thing that shocks me the most about the shocks is the fact that they can't be much differant then the BB on the shocks on the factory team SCT. Odd to say the least.
