I run a Futaba S9551 which is 136oz and that is plenty. I would think you would be ok at 125oz

I ran Deans. and some sort still do.
I moved to 4mm bullet connectors that I can solder my wires to at a 90deg's looks much better.
Some of my trucks still have deans like the factory SC10RS ESC only due to the wire being to short to go where I want it

What would be a good setup for this track?

it is "Outacontrol Raceway" on youtube and its the video that is 1:59 long

It is hard packed clay, has a groove and it develops a little bit of dust.

I running silver springs all the way around, stock link locations, stock wt oil, shocks are in on the tower and out on the arms and barcodes. I am able to turn some fast laps but it seems really inconsistent (could be me). The fast guys are like a half to a whole second faster a lap... Thanks!

A little about me, used to race 25 years ago, JRXT and a CLodbuster, just got back into racing about 5 weeks ago, bought a SC10rs and two Venom Power 20C 5000mAh 7.4V LiPo Batteries, and a DuraTrax Onyx 235 AC/DC advance charger with Built-In Balancer.

I race and practice on Fridays only so I charge and balance the batteries Friday during the day then practice a couple hours before racing, last night the truck was slower than the other weeks, I balance the batteries every time also, am I doing something wrong?

I don't see anything wrong with what your doing. The batteries should be fine. How hot does your motor normally get. The stock Reedy motor tends to run hot you may be starting to lose your motor

Recalibrate the radio to the ESC. I am seeing a lot of SC10RS's lose calibration at the track the last 2 weeks.

If it still feels "slow" go to the next throttle profile.

I have this in my SC10 and it fly's.
I don't want to even take it out. but to race at the Series races here I can't use it

Go to rc10.com and look for a setup for med grip, dusty, hardpacked track.
Gearing will be trial and error bring a temp.gun/ gauge.

Double.dee is the tire to run there.

So bummed my truck did'nt show up today. I was really looking forward to racing it tomorrow. Now I have to wait 2 weeks to race it. Funny thing is when I tracked it yesterday the delivery date was the 7th but when I tracked it today it changed to the 9th. Oh well sorry for the short rant,i'm just bored.

OK I got the losi spring cups. Its a much better cup. however my shock end is not cut straight so I have the same issue. once I straighten my shock ends. it will be just as butter as the BB springs.

Edit: I think the cups are crooked

Default Question about esc

Anyone know if the XP SC200 is at least a tiny bit resistant to water? We have a ton of ice here from some rain and although there are no puddles do to freezing I really don't want to ruin my new truck. Do you guys think it will be ok to run it on it?

sorry to hear that. I had to cancel plans to race tomorrow due to some family issues that came up.

One way to look at it, you get to really build it right with the time you have.

That's true. At least I will be racing on road cars this week. The indoor carpet facility I race at alternates between weeks, 1 week onroad 1 week off road. They have one track and they put out a bunch of jumps, whoops, and other obsticles for off road. It's nice because I get to race both formats without forking out alot of dough.
