I just run wheels that are made for the SC10 RS. The only hazard wheels I saw was 3mm offset, and according to JConcept's write up, you should be able to run them without issue. The will make the truck overall 6mm wider though.

I'm running pro-line hexes front and rear with no problems.

Default sc10 update

so the sc10 worked really well tonight, i had a stripped horn on servo but had that fixed, i feel the front shocks are to soft and the rear is also, steers to much but is still really fun with the stock system, ill run a new setup on it and try it then. What are some nice bodies you guys run?

I run the jconcepts manta on my 2nd one and its cracking at the same spots as the 1st so I might try the manta v2 next time I also have a jconcepts raptor but it hasn't held up well at all so its just a practice body.

Default AKA 17mm Wheel Adapters...

Hey guys, I'm new to the SC scene. I've raced 1/8th buggy before and had some good runs. Just wondering if it's worth while to try to use up some 1/8th scale tires I have, if the chassis tuning ever works out. I've only had about an hour of track time with the truck, which most of the time was learning the track and ironing out some of the bugs of purchasing a used truck.

Anyone having good results running 1/8th scale tires on high bite tracks in SC? I feel I'm close on setup, just need to get some more time in to blow off the cob webs. SC is just a stepping stone, I don't want to spend tons on tires as I want to switch to 10th scale buggy soon.

Thanks!

I finished my SC10 FT build tonight.....took way to long 6 hours and its still not done. Well it would have been completed but AE decided that I need to front left a arms and no right a arm. Also I didnt see anything in the manual if there was a specific side that the diff needed to be placed in the trans as now my right side CV axle seems to hit the washer/nylon in the outdrive!? Does it matter which direction the diff is installed in? Besides that and a few mismarked bags it went together well. Looks to be a nice kit.

if you look at the picture closely it shows that the screw head side goes on the spur gear side

No, because most tracks don't allow 1/8 tires on SCT.

I'm almost positive that there is no difference in the left and right A-arms.
