Wow....the truck is HOOOOOKED!!!!!. Red front springs did the trick. Could not believe how good the truck drives. This thing is on rails. I cant wait till my switches and hub conversion gets here. She was such a good girl, she might get a 13.5 AND a new body.

I'm glad you had success. If red fronts help you on carpet then you certainly had a lot of body roll. Did you try the carpet set-up that was posted or did you just add the red springs up front. Do you have good forward bite AND good steering control? What is your setup?

Hey guys, last week i got my SC10rs RTR, and i bought some barcodes and some KMC Hex Wheels for my tires. Well they must have changed something because the thickness of the hubs where it bolts to the axel is different, as shown in the picture, after i tighten down the bolt with the barcode tires(not stock hubs) the bolt does not tighten down all the way because there is not enough thread because it is thinner than the stock hubs. The site says wheels, does not say front or back. Does anyone know if they changed the hub thickness to more or to less? Is the rtr hubs old or the hubs i got from my LHS may be a bit old and they changed it since they got them. Thanks in advance

I checked part numbers on your aftermarket wheels and on the ones the RS instructions claim are in the kit and they are the same.

Clearly something is not right here because there is no way that you can securely bolt down the aftermarket one without adding spacers.
Does anyone have any idea what is going on here? I don't get it.
I may call Associated later to try to get an answer.

Make sure you don't have the front hex's on the rear, they are shorter.

just got a reply from AE
It looks like you got a set of our older wheels. When the 4x4 first came out the wheel was thinner and the mold was modified to make thicker for the SC10RS. There is actually a simple fix for it, you can either add some shims to the outside or take one of the blue axle washers that come on the older cars and put it on the outside and tighten down the wheelnut on top of it.

Hello, Just now replacing my diff. The SC10 RTR is nearly two years old and has been upgraded with a brushless system. Wondering what diff lube to use ? I run on a semi loose surface
All opinions welcome...............
