golds are a bit stiffer than silver. setup is not as important as the right tire. ask around to what local guys are running for setup's. more local knowledge than a forum

setup is definitely critical and can make a world of a difference. big difference in setting up a car in hard packed grippy clay vs loamy sandy surfaces. A tire wont make up the difference, just sayin. combination of the two will make your car that much easier to drive.

27/75 or 28/75 is what I run with my 17.5 on a larger track.

on a larger track? that is very aggressive gearing. most will use that for a small tight track.

I looked for this so if its a repeat question....my bad.

Can a guy switch his FT T4 into a SC10? Is their a kit? Is it cheaper just to buy a kit instead of trying to convert?

Stadium truck is dead at my track and ive been trying to be stuburn and not get on the Corr truck band wagon. However my T4 just collects dust. Just trying to find my options.

thanks

I had done this prior to the release of the SC10 FT kit. At retail prices it is better to just get the SC10 kit. There is no true conversion kit and what parts you need is dependant on the date of your T4 kit. I had to change the chassis, front and rear shock towers, front axles, and add bumpers and body mounts. On eBay I was able to get the parts for a decent price.

I dont even like the Corr Class. Guess guys like it more because they look more realistic than the stadium truck. Ive tried to sell a FT T4 in great condition and I cant even get $100 for it. So trying to decide what I want to do. thanks for the imput and you are most likely right just as cheap to buy the whole kit.
