The standard MX-3X FHSS 3 receiver can run whatever, but this FHSS 3 receiver was the only one in stock at the time at my LHS so I bought this and a servo. Besides, the servo I'm running now is lightning fast compared to my Futaba, it worked out well.

ahh, that's fine. I'm not really up on A stuff, just not my brand. Not that it's not good stuff, just sounded like they put you in a box, which they didn't really.

Yeah, I used the analog Futaba on the receiver that came with the system on my B4.1, but ended up upgrading it to a Savox 1257TG anyway because it felt so slow compared to the 1258TG I had in the SC10.

Did the Savox 1258 TG work with the stock Associated radio that comes with an rtr? Thanks

I didn't try. I hear it takes a lot of juice and may cause it to glitch. You can always stick a Novak Glitchbuster in the receiver to alleviate that problem.

Default Ask for Information

Dear Friends,

I would like to ask about motor heat issue in my AE SC10.

I am currently running my car with LRP SXX Version 2 with Vector X12 Stock Spec 10.5T. The Mechanical timing is set at the lowest setting (4 dots). ESC setting are Dual APC Mod "Feel" is set at lowest setting and Dual APC MOD "Boost" is disabled.

Spur Gear is 84T with 19T Pinion, following the manual suggested gear ratio.

Battery is 6.200mAh 60C.

But I kept having a motor thermal shutdown at about only 8-9 minutes of racing. Is it normal?

Is somebody can suggest me something or maybe I have something is wrong in my set-up.

Thank You very much and wish somebody could help me in someway.

The Savox servo is definitly faster, Biggest handling improvement I made was going with the V2 shocks.

According to this:

http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXYVK1&P=M

It's a 4-40 x 7/8".

Losi or Protek makes it:

Default A-Arm /Caster Block

I have a question about the caster block mounting onto the front a arm, seems there is a lot of play with the plastic spacer used .. is this ok or should I install a washer to take away the play? I'm using the FT carbon fiber front a arms.

tech notes say you must use the supplied bulkhead with the RPM front arms. anyone tried it with the integy aluminum bulkhead? I picked up the alum front arms and bulkhead last week but now the front of my truck dives off jumps. would like to keep alum bulkhead with RPM arms.. possible?

ALSO: anyone know where to find a wrench to use for putting the ends onto the turnbuckle? i've been using pliers and its terrible
