I think that more or less relies on how you want the truck to feel. Typically 0 to -1 is what I've seen.

front shock tower dont have the holes for the bumper, can be fixed by getting rpm bumper
rear shock tower is a good fit, just make holes for the body mount to screw into

converting to sc10 buying new parts would cost about $80-100 for chassis, battery holder, body mounts, side nurf bars, body
it might be cheaper to buy a used sc10 and use the other parts for spares
DRRC, I did mention the shock towers.

I used the T4 T-plate with the T4 transmission. So if you do not convert to the SC10 transmission you are OK. The difference between the T4 and the SC10 trans is the diff bearings and the case as it fits to the T-plate.

I disagree that the front shocks are longer on the T4. The part number is the same between the RTR kits and the 1.02" length is the same. I use 6 limiter thin spacers.

There are many ways to make your T4 fit the SC10 classification. Krio mentioned to me that he started with a T4 FT and purchased the original SC10 kit and built a SC10 FT from two kits. He then built a T4 with the remaining parts and sold it for nearly the price of the original SC10 kit so this was the most cost effective way to get a SC10 FT before the kit came out. If you have a T4 FT and want to convert it then it might be best to follow what Krio did.

I had those but they were loose on hex by feeling shaking wheels. The 4 rear slash wheels are tighter on hex, put HPI blitz front axle w/parts to make slash wheels to fit on front.

I run them with DE Racing wheels. The AKA ones are nice but the front uses a very small bearing on the outside. On the high bite tracks I go through a bearing every so often. The bearing is really to small in my opinion. I am going to machine out the hub to accept a normal bearing like the other brands that are out do. I use a very small dot of super glue on the bearings to help hold them in the hub also to reduce the slop between the bearing and the hub.

Don't get me wrong though I do like them.

I just bought an SC10 FT and I'm looking for a suggestion on what gearing to run at our local track. This is an old design of the course but comparable to that it is today. Thanks

Hi,

Anyone know if I can use RPM 3.5mm ball cups on SC10 rear camber turnbuckle (the one that's 71mm length)? My standard ball cups pops out once in a while.

Any possibility to install 1/8th motor in SC10? If yes, what's the modification like?

yes they fit but u want the short ones. rpm ball cups come in 2 lengths, short and long. longs work but may require trimming wich is a pain to get straight.

1/8th motor in a sc10? why? it may fit with a good chance of destroying ur tranny. if u want insane speed and plent of broken parts, just go with a 3.5 or something

I am finishing up the build on my SC10. While putting the rear end on with the CVD's and rear hubs I noticed that the left side out drive does not have much room for the CVD end to slide in. The white plastic t-nut that the diff screw goes into is taking up a lot of room inside that outdrive.
Is that normal?

The T nut should suck in there and sit bottomed out in the outdrive slot leaving the proper room needed....something sounds goofy man.

I have an older B4 Tranny and want to use it on the SC10.
So should it bolt right up? Or would I need anything extra?
I would just prefer to use a Ball diff on carpet.
