yeah they take away the hole look of these trucks.cant believe they would even think about making some thing like that.just going to kill the hole point of these trucks.if not the companies would have just slap some pin tires on them.
why not a true looking scale tire that works awsome! even pro-line knew better.and there tire seems to work ok. are you listen J-Concepts??? |
Then drive a stadium truck if you want performance.

Um... this is what happens when people RACE! They look for ways to go FASTER! How about this, make two classes. A "Spec" class where everything has to "Look" scale, and a race class for people that are interested in performance.... 3 guesses as to which one will survive.
The "look" is the reason this class is so popular. |
the reason these trucks are popular is that they are scale... take that away and you have the dying mod truck class..

I don't see why everyone is complaining about the new Jconcepts tires. When your car is moving, all you see is the sidewall and they look as scale as the stock tires. They allow these CORR trucks go faster, jump further, and more enjoyable to watch. The only downside is cost, but a "spec" tire can be agreed upon at your local track.
|
I feel the Slash should be a spec class and the SC10 more like a outlaw stock class with tire and motor options. Why else would it come as a kit? I will run the Goosebumps when the tracks allow and I'll run the kit tires when I can't. The weather better hold for this weekend!

+ 1 My stadium truck is WAY faster than my SC10. If I was only interested in performance I'd race it instead of the SCT class. No worries though, my track has already outlawed the jconcepts tires. |

Any way you can take a picture? Most likely, you've either reversed the rear hubs or mounted the links on the wrong side of the hubs.

I'm not a fan of "spec" racing, I just don't want to see mini pins and grooved tires in this class, if we allow the JC tires, then were already starting down a very slippery slope. |
Were not looking for a spec class. But taper pins on these trucks are just wrong. Theres ways to get a good tire that works with out going the pin spike route.
No help on the link question? Guess I have to figure it out myself. DK |

The ones made for the Slayer should work on the SC10 wheels.
