Just out of curiosity, is anybody running the PL slash F150 body on their SC10? If so, can you post a picture of how the rear is trimmed?

I could not get switches to hook up, I run calibers and bowties now, but am gonna buy a set of megagrids and megabites and try them out. Also I know hot bodes just released the beams for indoors as well.

Switches have been fine for bashing.

JC Goosebumps for hard-packed wet track racing. JC Double Dees for not-so-wet racing. Both in green compound.

Both wear exceptionally long and hook up well if your setup is correct. Lots of steering with the Double Dees.

Let us know if the tires stay attached under use. I'd be concerned that the side ribs being pinched in the beadlocks will eventually cause the tires to come free.

So far they've passed the "hold one wheel and go WOT" test. It's a Castle 4600 with 20/84 gearing, so if that doesn't debead 'em, nothin will.

Having just done it...PL says "some trimming required"...

It's more like "chop out the grille and the entire ass end off the body then it might fit"

same with the silverado body, but the truck seems to jump much nicer with it.

Not a shock, considering you chopped the big parachute outta the back

Sweet. So did you have to hack a bunch of the inside of the tire out for the bead to set?

I was also looking at the parts list for the FT-SC10. The slipper plates and spring are different than the stock T4 and SC10. Does anybody have an opinion on their usefulness? Are they easier to find the "sweet spot" as advertised? I'd like to know from someone who has driven both the RTR and FT SC10s.
Even though Driver86 is putting all the Factory Team parts on his SC10, this is unnecessary as Driver86 likes his slipper tight at all times.

Driver86 just installed the FT Red front and Gray rear springs along with an anti-squat plate. Will be testing tonight to see how it hooks up. It was great before with the stock motor, but when going to a beefier motor it got squirrelly in the rear again. Also put in the Futaba receiver to use with the new Futaba 2PL radio.

New setup:
Mudflaps removed
RPM front bumper and chassis brace
Pro-Line Caliber M3 tires on KMC wheels
Epic 15T 20 degree motor
Duratraxx Intellispeed ESC
30 degree front hubs
-1 Camber longest setting +2 washers each side under inside ball studs, stock toe
Rear shocks top middle hole, lower inside Gray springs 30wt oil
fron shock top middle hole, lower inside Red Springs 30wt oil
1 anti-squat plate
flipped battery plate with 2s hard case li-po positioned all the way back against shock tower

If this isn't dialed and glued then the next step is toe-in hubs

yeah, it didnt fit very good at first, but now with that cut I have the front grill just over the bumber and it fits great. Its also almost an inch lower for the roofline, but a taller ride height.
