I am going to be getting my SC10 within 2 weeks, i want to run Brushless Lipo but Im not sure what turn or Kv is competative for short-course classes. I have been running 1/8th nitro offroad for 8 years now, and want to do something different.

Thanks,
Dillon Hoffman

anything more then 13.5 and you will have traction problems.

SikKustomz 08-02-2009 03:27 PM

17.5 is the way to go.

You can over power it like I did and dial it back at the track and open it up for the street and impressing friends. ;)

Same here, I just don't want to spend $250 on another brushless system. What do you guys recommend.

I apologize if this has been asked before on this thread, but which cvds are you guys using in your sc10s?
and my output drive cups are wobbly and create a horrible noise...any tips on fixing this up would be awesome.
Thanks.

Hey guys, I'm finally gearing up to get my SC10 on the track (been sitting there after I built it for about two months now).

What gearing do you guys recommend for a MM+4600Kv on a medium-sized, indoor clay?

Wobbly? :weird: Check you bearings. CVD's really aren't needed, unless you really wanna spend your money.

I run the CVD's out of a t4. I noticed when I ran the stock bones that they wore out quickly. That is y I upgrade.

Thanks a lot, I want to run LRP so should i go for the SPX Competition Stock Spec, Competition Spec, or Competition TC-Spec?
Also, I'll primarily be running at OCRC so any advice on gearing and tires?
Thanks,
Dillon Hoffman
