Yeah...

I think I just may have gotten a Monday kit... A holiday weekend Monday when everybody came back to work not only hung over, but still drunk. LOL

I just spent an hour trying to get that little spur gear cover thing to fit correctly... Grinding, Cutting, etc... I had heard this was a problem... So I didn't really mind having to do all the extra work....

All the while the problem I was having was that the dang motor mount side of the center bulkhead had a tweak in it... Fixed the tweak, and now I have a spur gear cover thats ground down to fit with the tweaked motor mount. Luckily once again... I had a spare.

On a positive note... The drivetrain is very nice and free now... Was kinda wondering about how free the drivetrain was on this thing.

I don't understand why my kit has so many bent parts in it... the box looks perfect!?

Eh well... I'm gonna keep on drudgeing through it... Hopefully I'll have it assembled by the end of the night.

Got a buddy of mine bringing me some of the shims that were not packaged in my kit. LOL.. He's driving 60 miles to bring me a half cent worth of metal!

Eh well... I'll report back later I guess.

Eh well...

Throwing in the towel for the evening...

Things have gone much better since my earlier issues, which is a plus.

I do have a question though...

Does anybody know why there are 2 different center front driveshafts and 2 different part numbers?

The only difference I can see is that one is called 2mm and the other is not.

Was this a difference between DEX410R and the Race Spec Version or was this a difference between older kits and the 2010 spec?

DavidR- The two different part #'s for the center shafts are for the original DEX410 which could only use 23mm tall lipo's. The 2010 spec DEX410 and the R version raised the motor mount 2mm so you need to use 2mm driveshafts to account for the extra height.

HRP and durango have been less than helpful with my issues.

I'm a little more motivated to sell mine now, since my B44.1 is sitting at the hobby shop

I've also got an extra tereserey servo saver for sell, once it gets here.
