I still haven't contacted HRP / Durango about getting the parts replaced, was just too busy, but I had them overnighted from A-main to get it up and running for this weekends Fall Championship Trophy Event...

This car is the real deal.... WAY faster than my B44 used to be.

Only breakage was one front arm in practice... But it was 34 degrees at the track at 6:45 AM so I blame the cold not the car.

Took on some of the best the area had to offer this weekend with it... First time out with the car! Well, the results speak for themselves.

Congrats! Now the car only gets faster

Thanks! I had my work cut out for me...

I just can't even describe it! This car will darn near read your mind! It's also one of the most responisve vehicles I've ever seen to small setup changes. EVERY change makes a difference, where with some cars you have to go to extremes to get an effect.

It also LOVES to be driven hard... The harder you drive it the more it likes it. I was driving well beyond MY personal comfort level at times yesterday, and this car just inspired confidence.

I can honestly say I'm at least a full lap faster with this car on the first weekend out than I was with my B44 after 2 years of racing it.

This car is THAT good.

We'll still have to see about durability... But so far so good.

I'm looking forward to trying some setup changes and getting some wheel time in with this thing... But there is definately potential!

LOL... Thanks!

As for breaking the arm... Actually it wasn't that hard of a hit, but I left the car in the building all night long, and the floor heat wasn't quite up to snuff yet, and it got cold in there Friday Night / Saturday morning...

Went out on the track for practice it was still in the mid 30's I'd say... went over our big crossover jump and got a little crossed up and stuffed a pipe at about full wood.

My fault completely... And I think it probably still wouldn't have broke if it hadn't been so darn cold.

Ha-ha! I have personally broken 2 rear left arms and believe me--it is kinda hard to do actually. I am not a crazy driver but have been on a mission to push the car as far as my skills can go. The car is much more capable than I so do manage to break a few things when I am trying to find the equilibrium of my driving style and the cars capability. At any rate it is tough as nails and truly is a fine design.

Yeah, I do not doubt it either. Makes me wonder if I should grow smarts and switch. As long as they are willing to replace them I am willing to run 'em. I am a typical early adopter of new technology so I do not expect perfection. I just wish I could race a little more . . .

Hey, i understand that completely. If a company is going to stand behind the product, then keep running it.

....but at the same time... do you really want to keep having to send the ESC back? Or what about the time it blows up and your car goes up with it...
