Understand. Lap times were marginally better with 16 than 15 - temps and runtime were a lot worse. Back to 15/44 next time

cheers

I just thought I would share with you that one of my earlier RX8’s had a similar problem and in my case it was due to the BEC malfunctioning. It was not supplying the receiver with enough current causing it to send out crazy signals. I was able to use a capacitor but it was still randomly acting up and eventually got worse but I ended up with using an external BEC that seemed to do the trick. Did you try unplugging your servo and transponder?

Anyone know of any tricks to calibrate my new RX8 to my Futaba 4PL? I have tried normal and reverse on the throttle. I get it to chime on neutral, but nothing when I pull the trigger to forward or brake. Please help. I have programmed a ton of speedos in my 20+ years messing with r/c stuff.

End points are at 100.

Ok...in "reverse" I am able to calibrate, but the buggy only goes in reverse when I pull the throttle. When I put the radio to "normal" it will not calibrate. Do I need to put the motor into reverse rotation with a Hotwire?

Default settings

what would be a good starting point for this ESC, in a Losi SCTE, on a 100x60 clay track, running a 4.5 Novak Ballistic. What pinion should i also run? Any help would be appreciated.

I am currenty running an LRP SXX TC, stock profile, w/ a 12 pinion, and i was just lacking a little speed and power, which is why i bought the RX8...

thanks

Read this. It is a somewhat long read, but very informative.

Hi all
I am having a problem with my tekin rx8 and 1900 combo.

anytime I land from a jump it cuts out ! I lose drive but steering still operates in 10 seconds or so it starts going again . this only ever happens after a jump small jumps seem to not do this probably more so when chassis bottoms out .

this never happened last time I drove the car with exactly the same setup running spektrum dx3r pro and sr3000 module with inbuilt telemetry (running temp sensor on motor )

I have eliminated batteries as its happened on different sets of batteries

Im thinking I have esc problem as i dont think its motor . and its nothing to do with spektrum receiver as Ive run many packs through it with no issue.

I did also put in a spektrum glitch buster cap today and same problem !
